We woke up to a dense fog covering the area after a chilly, rainy night. For an outdoor wedding, we were a little nervous. As we girls got ready at Jamie’s now-sister in law’s home (thank you, Shari, for all you did for us that morning!!) the sun started peeking through the clouds and clearing out that thick fog. It became an absolutely beautiful day, and sure enough by the time the ceremony came around the sun was shining bright—even if there was a strong wind!
Being a bridesmaid and a photographer was one of the most wonderfully chaotic experiences of my career in wedding photography, but I wouldn’t have traded the responsibilities for anything! I loved being able to celebrate with my friend (and crying many tears of joy!), while also documenting all of the special moments and memories.
Jamie and Isaac, your love for each other is evident to everyone around you. All of the special moments you created for one another, from reading letters to each other before your first look, to reciting vows you each wrote, to the poem selections at the ceremony, and even the last song of the night that was a surprise for Isaac (the song he wanted as their first dance!). I’m so excited to see all that your future together has in store for you both and I’m so happy that I’ll be there alongside you!
Thank you to all of the vendors who made this beautiful day possible, and a HUGE thanks to Andrea for helping us out with photography so that I could also celebrate alongside my friends as a bridesmaid!
